Another battered pulp and another flying saucer. Wonder Stories, a science fiction pulp, from July 1935.
This cover is for is another reader story contest. The writer of the best short story about this Frank R. Paul illustration had the pleasure of seeing it published in Wonder Stories and walked away with $25 (about $420 in 2013 money). Second prize was $10 and third was $7.50.
If Pulp Saturday had entered this contest, his story would have been about an uprising at an off-world cheesy fries plantation.
